Biography

James Wilkes is an associate in the Firm's global real estate industry group based in London.

James is a corporate lawyer and advises on real estate focused transactions, and has experience in a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, minority / majority structured investments, group reorganizations and corporate governance matters.

Before joining White & Case, James was an associate in the Corporate M&A team of a leading UK law firm, where he also trained.

Representation of Refinitiv and coordinating a multi-jurisdictional intra-group reorganisation prior to its $27bn sale from Blackstone and Thompson Reuters to LSEG.*

Representation of Charme Capital Partners and Livingbridge on the sale of the Witherslack Group to Mubadala.*

Representation of Standard Life Aberdeen on a joint venture with Investcorp to raise and manage an infrastructure fund in the Middle East.*
