Biography

Overview

Jesse focuses his practice on helping developers, owners and investors on their global construction projects.

Prior to joining White & Case, Jesse spent seven years as an upstream engineer at Exxon Mobil in their Project Management and Execution group. Jesse has worked on projects in West Africa, the North Sea, and South East Asia. Two and a half of his seven years at Exxon Mobil were spent in Papua New Guinea constructing a gas processing plant for a LNG facility. Jesse has extensive knowledge on upstream construction – with an emphasis in contractor management, project controls, site safety, and execution planning.

Experience

Representation of a LNG company in the drafting and negotiation of an EPC agreement to develop its LNG export facility near Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada. The project is valued in excess of US$10 billion. Jesse's involvement included the development and execution of the EPC agreement.* Representation of an international company in the drafting and negotiation of an EPC agreement for a gas processing and LNG liquefaction facility for an offshore field located in Mozambique.* Representation of a developer in connection with the drafting and negotiation of the EPC for a greenfield power facility, which included an initial, competitive RFP for FEED.* Representation of a developer in connection with the drafting and negotiation and re-bid of the EPC for a greenfield LNG facility.* Representation of a real estate developer in connection with purchase of over 1000 acres in New Mexico; include the review of surveys and title commitment documents.* * Matters prior to joining White & Case.
