Overview

Josephine is an associate in our global M&A and Corporate practice based in London. Josephine is a member of the Private Equity team.

Josephine has a variety of experience including acquisitions, disposals, equity arrangements and general corporate advisory, and represents private equity funds, corporates and sovereign wealth funds.

Josephine qualified in 2020, and has spent time working in the disputes and project development and finance departments in London, as well as White & Case’s Abu Dhabi office, where she worked on corporate energy project development.

Representation of CityFibre, the UK's largest independent full fibre platform, and its existing shareholders on its capital raise, which included new equity investments from Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Company and Interogo Holdings.

Representation of Oaktree Capital Management on a number of matters, including its disposal of Kadans Science Partner.

Representation of ADVANZ Pharma on its sale to Nordic Capital.

Representation of Alvogen, a large American pharmaceuticals company, on completion of sale of CEE business to Zentiva Group during COVID-19 lockdown.

Representation of Calastone management on its sale to The Carlyle Group.

Representation of Game Media Limited on its acquisition of domain names through asset and share purchases.

Representation of a sovereign wealth fund on exchange and completion of EUR130 acquisition and financing of Dutch residential properties and associated joint venture.

Advised start-up client on early stage corporate matters and the series A funding round for carbon offsetting business.

Advised retail client Fat Face on financial restructuring and refinancing, its corporate reorganization and management incentives, alongside the consensual sale of the operating group by Bridgepoint to the lenders.
