Julien Chameyrat is a counsel in the Firm's Bank Finance group in Paris. Julien commenced his career in the Paris office of a Magic Circle law firm in 2005 and joined White & Case in 2010.

He has counseled financial institutions, corporates, real estate investment funds and private equity funds on a wide range of finance domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions and/or leveraged financings, mezzanine financings, corporate financings, real estate financings, asset-backed financings, securitisations and structured finance transactions.

Julien also advises creditors and debtors on debt restructurings.

Acquisition Financing of SAG, 2016

Advised SPIE on the financing of the acquisition of SAG, the German leader in high-growth energy infrastructure services. The transaction, estimated at approximately €850 million, is financed by a bridge loan facility provided by international banks and should be completed in late Q1 or early Q2 2017, subject to antitrust approval.

MCS Groupe Senior Credit Facility, 2016

Represented the mandated lead arrangers, the original lenders, and the facility agent in relation to a €25 million super senior revolving credit facility made available to M.C.S. et Associés and entered into in connection with a €200 million offering of senior secured foating rates notes due 2021 by the MCS Group.

Banijay Group's Refinancing, 2016

Represented the arrangers in connection with the refinancing of the existing indebtedness of Banijay Group as part of the merger of Banijay Holding with and into Banijay Group (formerly known as Zodiak Media).

Acquisition financing of a real estate portfolio, 2016

Advised Meyer Bergman, a European real estate investment and fund management firm, on the acquisition of a portfolio of 38 French properties through one of its pan-European funds.

Alliance Hotel Group's acquisition by LFPI, 2015

Advised LFPI on the acquisition of Alliance Hotel Group from Lone Star. The group comprises twelve hotels, positioned as three and four star offerings, located in Greater Paris as well as key regional cities.

IKKS' acquisition by LBO France, 2015

Advised Natixis, Société Générale, Goldman Sachs International, UBS Limited and Mediobanca in connection with the acquisition by LBO France from Roger Zannier, of IKKS, one of the leading French ready-to-wear brands with a unique position in the "casual chic" segment.

Cobepa's acquisition of Exclusive Networks, 2015

Advised Cobepa on its bonds issuances in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Exclusive Group by a special purpose vehicle controlled by Cobepa and other financial investors and the refinancing of Exclusive Group's existing debt. This transaction has been awarded "Private Equity Deal of the Year in France" by Le Magazine des Affaires in March 2016.

Acquisition financing of Safic-Alcan, 2015

Julien advised the arrangers to finance the acquisition of Safic-Alcan from the investment firm Parquest Capital.

5àsec's financial and capital restructuring, 2015

Julien represented the lenders in relation to the financial and capital-based restructuring of 5àsec with the arrival of Rive Private Investment in the group's capital.

Arkema's acquisition of Bostik, 2014

Julien advised the original mandated lead arrangers and the original lenders on the €1.74bn acquisition by Arkema of Bostik, one of the world's largest adhesive makers, from energy giant Total.
