Biography

Juliette Brasart is a counsel in the Tax department of White & Case in Paris.

Juliette's practice focuses on all aspects of international and domestic taxation, and in particular on the tax related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, leveraged buy-outs, financings, restructurings and real estate investments. Juliette also has extensive tax litigation experience.

Prior to joining White & Case in 2026, Juliette worked for a leading international law firm in Paris.

Juliette is a member of the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF) and the French Association of Women Tax Professionals (A3F).

Experience

Juliette’s experience includes advising:

  • EDF power solutions S.A. on US$4.2 billion sale to KKR of its North American renewable power business
  • Revenio Group Corporation on the acquisition of LT International SAS, the parent company of the Visionix International group, with an enterprise value of €290 million
  • Lactalis, the world's largest dairy company, on the acquisition of the consumer and associated businesses of Fonterra, a New Zealand dairy co-operative. This purchase represents more than NZ$5.6bn of net sales (more than €2,8bn)*
  • US firm Atlassian on its acquisition of Cycle, an AI-powered platform that helps companies understand customer feedback at scale*
  • BNP Paribas on the €5.2bn acquisition of Axa IM*
  • A major US firm on the acquisition of two French tech companies*
  • CMA CGM on its USD 2.1 freight receivables securitisation*
  • CDPQ on the acquisition of the railway operations of Bombardier, Bombardier Transportation, by Alstom*
  • Cobepa on its investment in Scalian*
  • The Belgian investment company Sofina in successful litigation (in the French courts system, and in the Court of Justice of the European Union) on reclaims of past paid French dividend withholding taxes based on non-compliance of the French legislation with EU law*
  • Getlink on the tax aspects of several refinancings and reorganisations*
  • EDF on the €2.2bn acquisition of Framatome from Orano (formerly Areva)*
  • Boehringer Ingelheim on the €11bn strategic global swap of its consumer healthcare business with Sanofi's animal health business*
    Carlyle on the USD 3.2bn acquisition of Atotech from Total*
