White & Case advises Trustpair shareholders on acquisition by Basware

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the shareholders of Trustpair on the signing of a binding agreement for the acquisition of Trustpair by Basware.

The acquisition, which is expected to complete later in 2026, will deliver the industry’s first invoice lifecycle assurance covering the complete end-to-end transaction.

Following the completion, Trustpair will continue to operate and go to market independently as a Basware company. Trustpair’s existing investors and shareholders, including Axeleo Capital, Breega and Tikehau Capital, will also continue to support the company’s next phase of growth.

Trustpair is a B2B platform that has set the global standard for enterprise payment fraud prevention.

Basware is a cloud-based software company which is a market leader in invoice lifecycle management.

The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partner Guillaume Vitrich and included partners Alexandre Jaurett, Cyril Valentin, Orion Berg and Clara Hainsdorf, counsel Juliette Brasart and associates Henri Stiegler, Anaïs Eudes, Salomé Lecroc and Charlotte Biscotti.
