Kelly Funderburk is an associate in the Technology Transactions Practice, within the Firm's Global M&A Practice Group and Global IP Group. Kelly represents clients in technology and intellectual property matters and has experience with a variety of transactions, from start-ups and spin-offs to large corporate transactions, where she assists with the technology and intellectual property aspects of M&A transactions. She has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including branded consumer goods, technology, energy, media, and life sciences, among others.

Occidental has formed a joint venture with BlackRock Inc., the world's largest asset manager, in connection with the STRATOS project with BlackRock investing US$550 million into the joint venture.

Ross Acquisition Corp. II, a SPAC founded by former Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur L. Ross, Jr., on its US$280 million combination with APRINOIA Therapeutics Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Green Cross Holdings Corporation (KOSPI: 005250), the holding company for GC Group in South Korea with major operating companies across healthcare sectors, in its US$73 million pending acquisition of 100 percent of the shares of BioCentriq, Inc., a pioneering US-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that designs and develops scalable cell and gene technologies.
