He is also a member of our global Real Estate practice. Ladislav regularly supports Czech and international investors at various stages of acquisitions and disposals in addition to providing general corporate advice.
Ladislav has a long history of representing major clients, such as Prologis, Generali Real Estate, KGAL, LaSalle Investment Management, Arx Equity Partners, in various transactions including mergers & acquisitions, private equity and corporate law.
Ladislav Chundela provided long-term consultancy to a U.S. fund in connection with the resolution of complex disputes regarding its investments in publicly tradable shares and funds in the Czech Republic.
KGAL – acquisition of DRN building
Ladislav advised KGAL Investment Management GmbH & Co. KG, a leading independent investment and asset manager with an investment volume of EUR 20.5 billion, in connection with the acquisition of the DRN building in central Prague from the Czech developer Sebre for EUR 100 million. This was the first direct real estate investment in the Czech Republic by KGAL Investment Management.
Generali Real Estate – acquisition of Palác Špork
Ladislav represented Generali Real Estate on the acquisition of Palac Spork, a prestigious mixed-use asset located in the centre of Prague, from SEBRE. Palac Spork is located in one of the most sought-after office and high street retail areas of the Czech capital. Built in 1925, and fully renovated in 2017 with the addition of a modern component, the property offers circa 10,000 square metres of office and retail space.

RWE Transgas – permitting procedures
Ladislav assisted RWE Transgas Net in connection with various aspects of the permitting procedures related to the construction of a new 180 km gas transmission pipeline in the Czech Republic that represents a continuation of the Nord Stream and Opal transmission systems.
Restructuring of an Austrian hotel chain
Ladislav was leading a team that performed the restructuring of an Austrian hotel chain, which included the squeeze-out of minority shareholders, the merger of previously independent business companies, and finally the hive-down of the operational section into a separate company.
Arbitration against an international retail chain
Ladislav represented a developer in arbitration against an international retail chain regarding the payment of the balance of the purchase price under a share purchase agreement.
