Laura Ashoff is an associate in our M&A practice group with a special focus on transactions in the energy and real estate sector. She advises clients on all aspects of corporate law and M&A transactions.

Before joining White & Case as a lawyer, Laura Ashoff gained experience as a trainee lawyer at leading law firms in Berlin, Miami and New York as well as at Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

Representation of German energy company E.ON on establishing a joint venture with Igneo Infrastructure Partners for the roll-out of high-speed broadband infrastructure in Germany. To this end, Igneo has acquired a 50% stake in Westenergie Breitband GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of E.ON SE.

Representation of SECO S.p.A., a leading operator in the industry of technological innovation, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), on the €180 million acquisition of the entire share capital of Garz & Fricke Holding GmbH and its controlled companies (Garz & Fricke Group) and AF HMI Holding.

Next Kraftwerke, 2021
Advised the founders and shareholders of Next Kraftwerke – Eneco, Neuhaus Partners, High Tech Gründerfonds and Hamburg FOR Mobile – on the sale of 100 percent of their shares to Shell Overseas Investment B.V.

EWE AG, 2020
Advised EWE AG, one of Germany's largest municipal enterprises, on the establishment of a joint venture with Aloys Wobben Foundation, sole shareholder of wind turbine manufacturer ENERCON, to consolidate the onshore wind farm activities of both partners.
