Linford is an associate in the corporate department of the Firm's London office and focuses on private equity. In addition to his private equity expertise, Linford has experience in a range of corporate and capital markets transactions, including international M&A, joint ventures, block trades, high yield bond offerings and corporate reorganisations. Prior to joining White & Case, Linford worked for US top tier firms for more than five years, during which time he was seconded to the legal team at Blackstone.

Blue Water Energy LLP, a leading London-based energy investment firm specializing in oil and gas, on the acquisition from Carlyle (and others) of Authentix, a Dallas based company that uses proprietary technology to trace and authenticate fuel, money, tobacco and high-end spirits.

Harbour Energy, the energy investment vehicle managed by EIG Global Energy Partners, on its investment into Chrysaor Holdings for the acquisition of a portfolio of oil and natural gas assets from Shell, which resulted in creating the UK's leading independent oil and gas company focused on the North Sea.

Keter Group, the world's largest producer of quality resin consumer products, on the acquisition by BC Partners Ltd and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board of a majority stake in the group from the Sagol family. The transaction is the biggest ever LBO in Israel and has been described as the "deal of the decade" in the Israeli press.

Cott Corporation (one of the world's largest producers of beverages on behalf of retailers, brand owners and distributors and based in Tampa, Florida) on its acquisition of Eden Springs (a leading European direct-to-consumer services provider that specialises in home and office delivery water, office coffee services and filtration) from Rhone Capital.

Blue Water Energy LLP, a private equity house focused on investments in the energy sector, on its investment in Galileo Global Technologies Limited, a management buy-out vehicle purchasing the Galileo Group, a producer of LNG technologies in Argentina.

HTN Towers group, a leading telecommunications infrastructure operator in Nigeria (and a portfolio company of Helios Investment Partners), on its sale to IHS Towers, the largest mobile telecommunications infrastructure provider in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Blackstone Capital Partners, on the acquisition, along with KIRKBI, of Armacell International.

Melrose plc, on its disposal of its Elster meter business to Honeywell International for an equity value of £3.3 billion.

Blackstone Tactical Opportunities, on its acquisition, along with Round Hill Capital, of a Czech residential portfolio from the BXR Group.
