Biography

Overview

Luke Miller is a litigator based in the Firm's New York office. His practice is focused in complex civil litigation and Chapter 11 bankruptcy litigation in both federal and state court. Luke has worked with a wide range of clients, from global conglomerates and international banks, to law firms and institutional investors. Luke also maintains an active pro bono practice, including cases fighting for plaintiffs in a large civil rights class action, projects on LGBTQ+ rights, and gender justice issues.

Before joining White & Case, Luke attended the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he served as Senior Submissions Editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law, Programming Chair of Queer Caucus, and was the recipient of a fellowship from the Miller Center for Global Challenges and the Law. Luke also externed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Newark, during law school.

Luke received his Bachelor of Arts in French and History from Pomona College. While at Pomona, Luke studied abroad in both Dakar, Senegal, and Paris, France, and he was the winner of the Phyllis Johnson Memorial Prize for top French Department thesis. When Luke is not working, his hobbies include reading, cooking, travel, squash, and yoga.
