Biography
Maha Alami is an associate in White & Case's Project Development and Finance group in Paris.
Maha advises both financial institutions and borrowers on French and cross border transactions on the financing of projects relating to infrastructure.
Prior to joining White & Case, Maha acquired experience at Freshfields LLP.
Experience
Recent experiences before joining White & Case include advising:
- Phoenix Tower International, a Blackstone portfolio company, on the financing of its definitive agreement with Cellnex Telecom to purchase over telecommunications sites in very dense areas in Europe and its financing on several acquisitions;
- Phoenix Tower International, a portfolio company of Blackstone on its successive acquisitions of telecom tower business or assets in France, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Cyprus and the West Indies;
- Phoenix Tower International, a portfolio company of Blackstone on the corporate reorganisation of its European operations and the implementation of EUR 1.6bn European facilities arranged by Natixis and Deutsche Bank to refinance existing indebtedness and fund additional growth in Europe;
- DIF Capital Partners on its excusive negotiations with TDF and Banque des Territoires in relation to the acquisition of the fibre business of the TDF Group;
- Astorg Partners on the financing of the acquisition of IQ-EQ, a leading investor services group;
- One Equity Partners LLC in the financing of the acquisition of Clayens NP SAS, a European leader in the processing of polymers, composites and precision metal parts;
- La Française des Jeux on the all-cash tender offer for Kindred to create a European gaming champion; and
- An ad hoc committee of lenders on the financial restructuring of the AccorInvest group with c.€1bn new money injected.
