Biography

Manal Sanai is an associate in White & Case's Dispute Resolution group based in London, whose practice focuses on international arbitration. Her experience includes representing clients from a variety of industries in cross-border commercial and construction disputes.

Manal joined White & Case as a trainee solicitor, where she also spent six months in the Firm's Paris office gaining experience in corporate transactions.

Experience

Representing a sovereign state in its defence of enforcement proceedings in the UK pursuant to an award under the UNCITRAL Rules.

Representing a Middle Eastern government in a dispute concerning the construction of an international airport.

Representing a consortium of East Asian contractors in a SIAC arbitration over the construction of a petrochemical refinery in Southeast Asia.

Representing a French buyer in a post-SPA dispute under the ICC Rules. 

Representing an EPC contractor in an ICC arbitration in respect of a chemical processing plant in Western Australia.
