Maria Chiara Maiello is an associate in the Milan office and her practice focuses on EU and Italian antitrust and competition law, including assisting clients in connection with mergers control, horizontal and vertical agreements, abuses of dominant position, unfair commercial practices, follow-on actions and proceedings before both the EU and national antitrust and judicial authorities.
Maria Chiara has been involved in several complex antitrust investigation cases, helping international clients respond to requests for information, prepare hearings, implement compliance programs and appeal antitrust decisions before the administrative courts.
Prior to joining White & Case in January 2024, Maria Chiara practiced M&A in a major Italian law firm in Milan and completed her legal training at the State's Attorney's office.
