Maximilian von Möllendorff is an associate in our M&A practice group with a special focus on transactions in the energy and real estate sector. He advises clients on all aspects of corporate law and M&A transactions.
Before joining White & Case as a lawyer, Maximilian von Möllendorff conducted parts of his legal clerkship in the firm's offices in Berlin and London as well as in Germany’s Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection.
Next Kraftwerke, 2021
Advised the founders and shareholders of Next Kraftwerke – Eneco, Neuhaus Partners, High Tech Gründerfonds and Hamburg FOR Mobile – on the sale of 100 percent of their shares to Shell Overseas Investment B.V.
EWE AG, 2020
Advised EWE AG, one of Germany's largest municipal enterprises, on the establishment of a joint venture with Aloys Wobben Foundation, sole shareholder of wind turbine manufacturer ENERCON, to consolidate the onshore wind farm activities of both partners.
Advised SoftBank Vision Fund II on its investment as lead investor in the Series C financing of TIER Mobility.
EWE AG, 2019
Advised EWE AG, one of Germany's largest municipal enterprises, and the Ems-Weser-Elbe Versorgungs- und Entsorgungsverband, an alliance formed of 21 cities and districts in the Ems/Weser/Elbe region, on the sale of 26 percent of the shares in EWE AG to the infrastructure investor ARDIAN.
Advised stock exchange operator Tradegate Exchange GmbH and its shareholders, Deutsche Börse AG and Tradegate AG Wertpapierhandelsbank, on the acquisition of Börse Berlin AG.

Advised Mid Europe Partners on its acquisition of the intive group, a leading digital transformation service provider.
