May Xiao is an Associate in the Firm's Global White Collar Practice Group, based in Beijing.
May focuses on internal investigations, cross-border litigation and arbitration, international trade, anti-corruption, data compliance, regulatory and compliance matters. She has particular experience in assisting Chinese clients that may be subject to internal investigations and enforcement actions by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), U.S. Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), US International Trade Commission (ITC) and other governmental agencies.
Prior to joining the Firm, May worked at other law firms in Beijing and New York, and also had in-house experience in Guangzhou. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and passed the Chinese bar examination in 2015.
