Experience

Meryl's experience includes advising:

  • Equis in relation to the acquisition, divestment and development of the AU $1.1billion Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub in Melton, Victoria;
  • TagEnergy on the development and financing of the 756MW Golden Plains Wind Farm (Stage 1) in Victoria, Australia. This deal was awarded 'Asia-Pacific Renewables Deal of the Year 2022' by Project Finance International;
  • European Energy in relation to the acquisition and offtake of the 1.1GW Upper Calliope Solar Farm;
  • Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in relation to the acquisition and development of various early-stage renewable energy projects (including wind farms and BESS project) throughout Australia;
  • Octopus Investments Australia Pty Ltd in relation to the acquisition of the 180MW Dulacca Wind Farm located in Western Downs, Queensland;
  • Mytilineos in the acquisition of the 120MW Munna Creek Solar Farm in Queensland, Australia;
  • OX2 in the development of the 118.8MWac Horsham Solar Farm in Victoria, Australia;
  • Neoen in the financing of a portfolio of renewables projects in Australia;
  • Nexif Energy on the development of the 154 MW Snapper Point Power Station in South Australia;
  • Genex Power in relation to the development of the Kidston Pumped Hydro Project in Queensland; and*
  • Victorian Government in relation to the procurement of the Initial Works and Early Works for the Suburban Rail Loop project.
