Biography

Overview

Michal's practice focuses primarily on assisting venture capital and private equity clients on variety of cross-border transactions, including venture capital financings, acquihires, buy-outs and mergers and acquisitions. He worked on over 50 venture capital financings for leading venture capital firms such as Target Global, Pitango, Felix Capital, Dirlango, Evolution Equity Partners, Intel Capital, Icos Capital, TDJ Pitango and others. He enjoys learning about each of his clients, understanding their needs and playing a central role in their business transactions.

A significant portion of Michal's practice also focuses on representing fund sponsors or institutional investors in the formation and maintenance of venture capital funds as well as with the acquisition and sale of secondary partnership interests. Michal advised two most active and largest institutional investors in venture capital funds in Central and Eastern Europe – PZU S.A. and PFR Ventures on over 20 investments.

Prior to joining White & Case, Michał worked at the Warsaw office of a renowned international law firm, first as of counsel and then as a partner and head of venture capital and private equity practice.

Michal serves on the board of the Stanford Club of Poland, an association of Stanford University graduates in Poland.
