Overview

Ms. Ross is an Associate in the Firm's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency practice and is based in the New York Office. Her practice focuses primarily on bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters, including representation of debtors, creditors, purchasers and other interested parties in chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court workouts, and related transactions. Prior to joining the FRI group, Ms. Ross worked as an Associate in White & Case's New York Debt Finance practice.

Experience

Representation of Oi S.A., a major Brazilian telecommunications company in connection with its cross-border in-court insolvency proceedings, related litigation, and the restructuring of approximately US$19 billion of prepetition obligations.

Represented Constellation Oil Services Holding S.A., provider of oil and gas contract drilling and production services in Brazil, in its restructuring of approximately US$1.5 billion of debt under project financing and working capital facilities and senior secured and unsecured notes through insolvency proceedings in Brazil and the British Virgin Islands and recognition proceedings under chapter 15 in the United States.

Represented the International Bank of Azerbaijan in its restructuring of US$2.3 billion of financial indebtedness in its chapter 15 case, the first in the United States to win recognition for an Azerbaijani restructuring.

Representation of an ad hoc group of secured creditors of Concordia International Corp. on its US$3.7 billion recapitalization which was implemented by way of court approved plan of arrangement pursuant to the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA).
