Overview

Monica is a partner is the Debt Finance Group in London. Monica's practice focuses primarily on acquisition and leveraged finance. 

She advises financial institutions, private equity firms and corporate clients on a broad range of cross-border financing transactions, including extensive experience supporting lenders and sponsors throughout Europe and other international jurisdictions on first and second lien, mezzanine, term loan B, high yield, leveraged recapitalizations, bid financings and related intercreditor arrangements, alongside dual capabilities in leveraged finance and distressed debt investments as well as significant experience advising both private equity sponsors and private debt funds on the restructuring of portfolio companies.

Carlyle Global Credit in a bond financing of up to €500 million for French digital consultancy One point to accelerate its growth and refinance its existing debt.

EP Equity Investment III s.à r.l, a company controlled by businessman Daniel Kretinsky, on the signing of a lock-up agreement relating to Casino Group's financial restructuring, alongside Fimalac and Attestor, with Casino Group and some of its main creditors.

HIG Capital as lender on the financing, corporate and tax aspects of the sale of the Churchill Group to an employee ownership trust.

CVC Credit on the acquisition of a French group by Syparex.

Alpha on the acquisition of the Impact Field Marketing Group financed by Eurazeo private debt.
