Biography
Overview
Mostafa is an associate in White & Case's Project Development and Finance Group in New York. Mostafa's practice focuses on advising project sponsors, lenders and investors in domestic and cross-border project development, project joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions in the energy and infrastructure spaces.
Experience
Representation of Calpine Corporation in the syndicated project financing consisting of credit facilities totaling more than US$1 billion to finance the development and construction of a 680 MW battery energy storage system complex in Menifee, Riverside County, California. When completed, the project will be one of the largest battery storage systems in the US.
Representation of a lender on a US$70 million development loan for a green hydrogen / ammonia project in North America.
Representation of a solar portfolio company on a US$30 million revolving credit facility.*
Representation of a leading renewable energy developer on multiple tax equity transactions, covering 24 utility-scale and community solar projects in the Northeast of the US, with a total investor commitment of approximately US$180 million.*
