Myriam Karama is an associate in the International Arbitration Group in Geneva, where her practice focuses on disputes in the construction, mining and energy sectors.
Prior to joining White & Case, Myriam acquired experience in the field of international arbitration and litigation at several international law firms, in Paris, London and Bogota as well as within a major arbitral institution. Myriam also worked for the European Union, both at the French Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels and at the EU Delegation to the United States in Washington DC.
Myriam has participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot over a number of years, acting as participant, arbitrator and coach, with Sciences Po Law School.
Myriam also has experience in human rights and public international law, and regularly advises various entities in these fields.
Representing an EPC contractor in an ICC arbitration related to the construction of a petrochemical plant in the South-Pacific region.
Representing a Chinese company in an ICC arbitration related to a commercial dispute in the mining industry.
