Overview

Oendrila advises on the development and sale of major infrastructure and energy projects, with particular focus on roads, rail and social private public partnerships.

Oendrila specialises in advising sponsors, equity holders and debt providers in the acquisition, disposal, development and financing of economic and social infrastructure projects (such as road, rail, schools, hospitals and prisons) and advises on a range of project contracts from concession agreements, EPC and construction related contracts, operation and maintenance agreements through to equity and funding agreements.

In a prior role, she assisted clients in the successful delivery of a number of "firsts" including:

  • the first unsolicited proposal in New South Wales being the AUD3 billion proposal to design, build, operate, maintain and toll NorthConnex road project in NSW, Australia
  • the AUD1 billion acquisition of Legacy Way, Go Between Bridge and CLEM 7 road projects in Queensland, Australia involving the acquisition of Legacy Way which was at the time part way through construction
  • the asset workout of Ararat Prison Project in Victoria, Australia the first Australian PPP to undergo an asset workout due to the insolvency of the D&C Subcontractor

Advised Transurban in relation to the AUD5.5 billion unsolicited proposal to design, build, operate, maintain and toll Western Distributor road project in Victoria, Australia.

NorthConnex*

Advised Transurban, QIC and CPPIB in in regards to their unsolicited proposal to design, build, operate, maintain and toll AUD3 billion NorthConnex road project in NSW, Australia.

CityLink Widening*

Advised Transurban in relation to its proposal to widen the CityLink road project in Victoria, Australia.

Cranbourne Pakenham Rail Corridor Project*

Advised the consortium of MTR Corporation, John Holland and United Group in regards to their unsolicited proposal to deliver 25 high capacity trains, high capacity signalling, grade separations at level crossings, power upgrades and a new train maintenance depot on the Dandenong corridor in Victoria, Australia.

Auckland Prison Project*

Advised Programmed Maintenance on its bid to provide facility management services for the Auckland Prison Project, New Zealand.

Ararat Prison Project*

Advised the consortium of Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Bilfinger Berger in relation to the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the AUD285 million Ararat Prison Project in Victoria, Australia.

Ararat Prison Project (Asset workout)*

Advised the financiers Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Bendigo Bank in relation to the insolvency of the D&C Subcontractor and subsequent asset workout of the AUD285 million Ararat Prison Project in Victoria, Australia.

Bendigo Hospital Project*

Advised the winning consortium (led by Capella) in relation to the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the AUD630 million Bendigo Hospital in Victoria, Australia.

Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre*

Advised the financiers in relation to the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the AUD1 billion Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Victoria, Australia.

Pacific Hydro Disposal*

Advised IFM in relation to the AUD3 billion divestment of its 100% equity interest in Pacific Hydro, owner of wind farms and hydroelectric plants across Australia, Chile and Brazil.
