Patrik is a member of the EMEA Private Equity team in our Global M&A Practice. Patrik advises private equity houses and financial sponsors, such as EQT, Triton, Bridgepoint, Valedo and Accent, on LBOs, including public takeovers, and portfolio assistance.
He has specific experience and knowledge from transactions in industries such as:
• Telecom (IP-Only, DGC, Eltel, Availo, TE Connectivity carve-out, etc.)
• IT/Software/Fintech (Epidemic Sound, Candidator, IFS, Trade Extensions, ApoEx, Zmarta Group, etc.)
• Healthcare/Pharma (Karo Pharma, Solhagagruppen, Akademikliniken, HemoCue, RaySafe, Oral Care, etc.)
• Retail & Consumer (Joe & The Juice, Oatly, Nordic Cinema Group, Kronfågel, Intersport, etc.)
Patrik also has experience from a large number of cross-border deals, including complex carve-outs, where he has been advising global blue-chip companies such as S&P 100 company Danaher and FTSE250 company Synthomer.
Prior to joining White & Case, Patrik worked with private equity for another law firm.
Represented EQT on the public cash offer to the shareholders of Karo Pharma.
Represented EQT on the sale of Sweden-headquartered Piab Group AB to Patricia Industries.
Represented EQT in the restructuring of portfolio companies Candidator and DGC to form the new group Candidator DGC – creating a substantially larger managed IT services provider.
Represented EQT in the acquisition of Candidator Holding AB, a Swedish managed IT services provider with capabilities for full IT outsourcing in Sweden and Norway.
Represented portfolio company Candidator DGC on the acquisition of Alliero Services AB.
Represented EQT portfolio company Piab on the acquisition of FEBA Automation.
Represented EQT on the merger of the data communication operations of DGC and IP-Only to form IP-Only Enterprise.
Represented EQT on the acquisition of Epidemic Sound.
Represented EQT portfolio company Piab on the acquisition of SAS Automation.
Represented EQT portfolio company IFS on the acquisition of WorkWave.
