Peter North is an associate in our global Tax practice based in London.
Peter's recent experience includes negotiating the tax provisions in M&A deals and advising corporate clients in respect of cross-border investment and structuring, finance, employment taxation and VAT.
Immediately prior to joining White & Case, Peter was a Tax Manager in the International Tax and Transaction Services team at one of the Big Four accounting firms in New Zealand, and before that a solicitor in the tax team at one of New Zealand's leading law firms. During this time Peter specialised in cross-border taxation matters, particularly structuring and financial services transfer pricing, goods and services tax, and tax controversy.
Peter also has a keen interest in tax policy, having authored various tax policy submissions and appeared at Government select committees.
