One of the most prominent energy lawyers in Germany, Peter brings knowledge and insight to the full spectrum of energy law issues.

Clients benefit from his extensive experience in the German energy industry, which spans more than 20 years and has included numerous major deals, legal proceedings and discussions. A noted authority in this sector, his drafts formed the basis for sections of the new German Energy Act.

Since 2006, Peter has played a leading role in a variety of high-profile energy deals, including the bidding process for the BEB gas network, Amprion's purchase by Commerz Real, RWE's attempted sale of Süwag AG, and most recently the acquisition and financing of E.ON Mitte AG by a consortium of municipal shareholders.

Clients also look to Peter for his experience creating new investment structures, managing major legal and arbitration proceedings, and acting as an arbitrator in energy-related lawsuits.
