Biography

Overview

Reetu Vishwakarma represents financial institutions, investors and originators on a range of capital markets transactions catering to both German and an international client base.

She focuses on cross-border NPL securitisations (in particular in the Greek market). Further, she is working on structured finance and derivative products including risk transfer transactions for managing banks' credit risk exposure and optimising other prudential requirements.

She has also worked on several high profile securitisations for leading financial institutions in asset classes including consumer loans, auto loans and lease receivables. Recently, she has been involved in developing innovative and tailored financing models for warehouse, forward flow and other asset backed and secured loan transactions, particularly in the fast growth segment including real-estate and mobility sectors.

Experience

Advised the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) on a synthetic securitisation of leases granted to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Romania originated by leasing company Deutsche Leasing Romania IFN S.A. (DLRO), a member of the Deutsche Leasing Group.

Advised Hyundai Capital Bank Europe GmbH (Hyundai Capital Bank Europe) on an asset-backed securities (ABS) transaction of auto loans.

Advised Santander Consumer Bank on a €1.8 billion securitization transaction of consumer loans rated by Moody's and Fitch - named "ABS Deal of the Year" at the GlobalCapital European Securitisation Awards on June 2021.

Advised Intrum AB (Intrum) on a securitization transactions involving non-performing loan portfolios of Piraeus Bank, the largest bank in Greece, with a gross book value of approximately €1.92 billion (Project Phoenix).

Advised Intrum AB (Intrum) on a securitization transactions involving non-performing loan portfolios of Piraeus Bank, the largest bank in Greece, with a gross book value of approximately €4.9 billion (Project Vega).

Advised Intrum Holding AB (Intrum) on a EUR 7.2 billion securitisation transaction involving Piraeus Bank's Sunrise I non-performing loan portfolio (Project Sunrise I).

Advised Intrum Holding AB (Intrum) on a EUR 2.7 billion securitisation transaction involving Piraeus Bank's Sunrise II non-performing loan portfolio (Project Sunrise II).

Advised the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) on a synthetic securitisation of Greek SMEs, Small-Mid Caps and Mid-Caps loan portfolio originated by Eurobank S.A.

Advised Creditplus Bank AG on a €1 billion ABS securitisation of consumer auto loans.

Advised Waterfall Asset Management, as mezzanine lender, on FINN's €500 million asset-backed debt capital financing.
