Biography
Renata Ryglová is a member of the Firm's Energy and Infrastructure law practices in the Czech Republic. She advises primarily in the areas of public procurement, infrastructure and construction, with additional expertise in energy and intellectual property law.
In the energy sector, Renata regularly advises on regulatory issues, as well as on administrative proceedings pending before administrative authorities in the Czech Republic. She is also deeply involved in the firm's advisory work on major road and rail infrastructure projects, where she contributes her expertise on public procurement, regulatory and permitting matters.
She is a member of the Czech association Women in Energy, which aims to foster professional development in the energy sector and promote knowledge sharing. In addition, she is a member of the ALAI, an international organization of lawyers focusing on intellectual property law. She also regularly comments on the latest developments and publishes articles focused on both public procurement and intellectual property issues.

Czech Republic's First Ever PPP Road Infrastructure Project
Representing the Czech Ministry of Transport before and during a tender for the selection of a concessionaire for the PPP D4 project, which is a first ever infrastructure/road PPP project in the Czech Republic to successfully reach financial close.
Acquisition of a significant interest in Enery Development
Representing Amber Infrastructure Group, the specialist international infrastructure investment manager of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund, on the Czech and Slovak aspects of the acquisition of a significant interest in Enery Development GmbH, an operations-led renewable energy developer active in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria.
NET4GAS
Representing NET4GAS, acting as the gas TSO in the Czech Republic, in connection with (i) the construction of several gas pipelines designed to increase the gas transmission capacity available in the Czech Republic, and (ii) the obtainment of third party access and ownership unbundling exemptions under the applicable EU legislation.
Energo-Pro
Representing Energo-Pro, a leading electricity distribution and hydropower generation company in the Black Sea region, on the offering of USD 435 million 8.500% Guaranteed Notes due 2027 and the related tender offer in respect of its EUR 370 million 4.00%.
ČEZ Distribuce, a. s.
Representing ČEZ Distribuce, a. s., the distribution system operator in the Czech Republic, in relation to public procurement issues, particularly in connection with the preparation of tender documentation, the assessment and evaluation of bids, and dealing with objections.
EU sanctions and restrictive measures
Legal advisory services in the area of EU sanctions and restrictive measures, particularly in connection with procedures before the national competent authorities and compliance with the requirements, including notification and exemption procedures.
