Renata Ryglová joined White & Case in 2014. As a lawyer, she now focuses on the energy sector, public procurement and intellectual property law.
During her studies, Ms. Ryglová also worked as an intern at the Prague Municipal Court and in a Czech law firm, where she gained experience in the area of administrative and intellectual property law, in particular.
Ms. Ryglová is a member of the ALAI – an international organization of lawyers focusing on intellectual property law. She also regularly publishes articles focused on intellectual property issues.
In the energy sector, Ms. Ryglová regularly advises on regulatory issues, as well as on administrative proceedings pending before administrative authorities in the Czech Republic.
In the energy sector, Ms. Ryglová is frequently involved in the provision of advisory services provided to a number of major clients of the Prague office.
In addition, Ms. Ryglová regularly assists clients with intellectual property law issues, and has been involved in a number of due diligence exercises in connection with the acquisition of Czech and foreign companies.
Advisory services to the distribution system operator ČEZ Distribuce dealing with public procurement issues, particularly in relation to the preparation of contract awarding documentation, and the evaluation and assessment of bids, including objections procedures; and more recently also in connection with the new Public Procurement Act.
Advisory services to the transmission system operator NET4GAS, s.r.o. (a subsidiary of RWE Transgas) in the Czech Republic in connection with the construction of gas pipelines and PCI projects.
