Overview

As the Global Head of Communications, Richard Franco plays a pivotal role in steering the Firm's communication initiatives on a global scale. His responsibilities encompass overseeing external, internal and marketing communications across diverse international markets. Richard excels in crafting and implementing strategic positioning and communication strategies, contributing significantly to reputation building and management.

Leading a diverse team across the globe, Richard ensures seamless integration of communication initiatives with the Firm's strategic objectives and global brand. This includes media relations, internal communications, content and digital marketing, employee engagement, and crisis communications and management.

Richard joined White & Case in 2021 as Director of Media Relations. Previously, he worked for 18 years at Liquidnet, a global fintech company, helping build its communications and marketing function, first in the US and then throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific. Throughout his career, Richard has provided communications expertise across a variety of industries including technology, capital markets, consumer finance, cryptocurrency, not-for-profit and now, law. His multifaceted experience positions him as a strategic leader with a proven track record in navigating the complexities of global communications.
