Biography

Overview

Robbie is an associate in the Firm's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group in London.

Robbie has experience in relation to debt restructurings and distressed debt investments, schemes of arrangement, restructuring plans, and cross-border restructuring processes. In addition, his experience includes involvement in capital markets transactions and leveraged loans, as well as general bank lending. Robbie has worked with a diverse range of clients, including distressed investors, creditor committees, private credit funds, banks, companies.

Robbie trained at White & Case LLP and spent six months working in the Firm's Frankfurt office where he worked on high yield debt offerings and leveraged loans, and has been on a client secondment to a leading credit-oriented alternative asset manager.

Experience

Adler Group
Representation of Adler Group, one of Germany's largest real estate groups, on its financial restructuring, involving an amendment to the terms and conditions of €3.2 billion of senior unsecured bonds through English restructuring plan proceedings and the subsequent incurrence of €937.5 million of new money following. Adler Group is one of Germany's largest landlords holding 26,202 units with an aggregated gross asset value of approximately €5.2 billion (as of 31 December 2022) and its pre-restructuring total interest-bearing external debt amounted to approximately €6.1 billion.

Representation of London-listed oil and gas company Nostrum Oil & Gas plc on the financial restructuring of its US$1.125 billion of senior unsecured notes via a UK scheme of arrangement.

Advised the Republic of Serbia on its offering of €2 billion 3.125% notes due 2027 pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S, listed on the London Stock Exchange.
