Biography
Overview
Robin Jackson is an associate in the Private Equity practice group in the Firm's Frankfurt office and specializes in private equity transactions as well as national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
He advises corporate clients, investors, and private equity firms, he also offers advice on corporate law matters in connection complex German and cross-border private equity transactions.
Prior to joining the Frankfurt team as an associate in 2021, Robin already worked with the team as a trainee lawyer from 2017 and as a researcher for the Criminal Justice Policy Program of Harvard Law School.
Experience
Advised Nordic Capital, a leading private equity investor with a focus on selected regions and sectors, including healthcare, technology & payments and financial services, on its sale of Veonet GmbH, a leading pan-European network of ophthalmological clinics.
Advised Duke Street, a leading European mid-market private equity group, on the sale of its portfolio company Medi-Globe Technologies GmbH to DCC Healthcare.
Advised AGIC Capital on the acquisition of a majority stake in German pharmaceutical company ATEC Pharmatechnik GmbH (ATEC). Germany-based ATEC is a leading manufacturer of aseptic processing solutions, primarily used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and bioprocessing applications, with a customer base that includes the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies.
Advised international private equity investor Battery Ventures on its entry into the growing European fleet management sector via investment in two complementary SaaS (software-as-a-service) companies – Vimcar and Avrios.
Advised Battery Ventures on investment in Proemion, multinational technology company creating hardware-enabled software solutions to connect mobile machines with humans, the cloud, and each other.
Advised Nordic Capital on its acquisition of Alloheim.
Advised Cobepa SA on the sale of J.F. Hillebrand AG, a leading provider of beverage logistics services, to Deutsche Post AG.
Advised FSN Capital on the acquisition of Adragos Pharma GmbH, a globally operating contract development and manufacturing organisation in the healthcare sector.
