Scott is a litigation associate in White & Case's Los Angeles office. He focuses on complex civil litigation, including the representation of multinational corporations as well as private clients. Scott's work spans a number of different industries, including communications, social media, transportation, and finance.
Scott focuses his practice on representing technology companies in litigation and regulatory investigations concerning privacy and data protection, consumer protection, intermediary liability, hate speech and defamation. He also serves as a member of a team that handles international litigation for Facebook, Inc., Instagram, LLC and WhatsApp Inc.
In addition, Scott is actively involved in pro bono matters at the firm.
Prior to joining White & Case, Scott externed for Justice Laurence D. Rubin of the California Court of Appeal in Los Angeles. During law school, Scott served as a Note Editor for the Boston University International Law Journal, finished as a quarterfinalist in the BU Moot Court Competition, and was selected to be part of Boston University's team in the National First Amendment Moot Court Competition located in Nashville, Tennessee.
