Scott is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office, where he focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration.
He represents clients in all stages of litigation in state and federal court and has substantial experience with class actions and commercial disputes.
In his arbitration practice, Scott represents private parties and foreign sovereigns in investor-state disputes arising under bilateral and multilateral investment treaties. He also has experience representing parties in related enforcement actions.
Scott likewise advises foreign sovereigns on sovereign immunity implications of corporate structures and transactions.
Prior to attending law school, Scott served as a U.S. Army intelligence officer, completing tours in South Korea and Iraq.
