Serena Porhel is an associate in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice at White & Case.
Fluent in French and English, Serena is at ease navigating both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, involving listed and non-listed companies, as well as private equity transactions on behalf of multinational clients.
Prior to joining White & Case as an associate in 2024, Serena Porhel worked at several high-profile French and international law firms in Paris.

Representation of Eurazeo, a leading European investment group, in connection with its entry into exclusive discussions with the European holding company of the Ferrara Candy Group, a leading sugar confectionery company in the United States and a subsidiary of the Ferrero Group, regarding the contemplated sale of CPK.
Matmut Group (2025)
Representation of the Matmut Group, a major player in the French insurance market, in connection with the contemplated acquisition by Matmut SAM (Société d'Assurance Mutuelle) of 100% of the share capital of HSBC Assurances Vie (France) from HSBC Continental Europe.
BPCE Group (2025)
Representation of Caisse d'Epargne et de Prévoyance Hauts de France, a member of Groupe BPCE, on the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Bank Nagelmackers, Belgium's oldest bank, from China's Dajia Insurance group.
