Overview

Shusuke Fukunaga is an associate in our Asset Finance practice group based in Tokyo. Mr. Fukunaga is a licensed Japanese lawyer (Bengoshi) and has extensive experience in a broad range of banking and finance transactions with a focus on aerospace and maritime asset finance. Mr. Fukunaga has acted for banks, export credit agencies, trading houses, arrangers, lessors, lessees, private equity funds and other investors on a range of matters including syndicated loans, operating and finance leases, securitization, asset sale and purchase, tax-enhanced structures, M&As and financial regulatory matters (both domestic and cross-border).

Before joining White & Case, Mr. Fukunaga worked for a global UK law firm.

Mr. Fukunaga is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association.
