Dr. Simon Groneberg is an associate in our M&A/Corporate practice group with a strong focus on the energy sector.
Simon focuses on advising national and international clients with regard to the development of energy projects and on energy law and regulatory issues in the context of M&A transactions. He has particular experience with renewable energy projects (e.g. offshore and onshore wind farms, solar power parks or biomass and biogas plants), electricity and gas grids and energy storage.
Prior to joining White & Case, Simon worked as an associate in another international law firm in Frankfurt am Main with a focus on energy and infrastructure projects and as a scientific researcher at the Institute for Mining and Energy Law at the Ruhr-University Bochum.
