Biography

Overview

Stefania is an Associate in the BeLux Transactional practice and the Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice. 

Her practice mainly focuses on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and corporate governance. 

She has assisted clients in various sectors, including IT and high tech, logistics, retail, finance, insurance, automotive, hospitality and entertainment sectors.

Stefania holds a master's degree in law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a bilingual bachelor's degree from Université Saint Louis.

Prior to joining White & Case, she practiced for several years in the Corporate M&A department of a leading Belgian law firm.

Experience

Advising a subsidiary of one of Belgium's largest telecom companies, specialized in smart mobility, on the acquisition of a French specialist for real-time traffic information for car navigation systems;*

Advising a US listed pneumatic, cordless tool and collated fastener manufacturing and sales company on its acquisition of a Dutch pneumatic tool, manufacturing and sales company;*

Advising a Swedish group active in the automotive sector, on its acquisition of two Belgian authorized dealers for BMW and Mini cars;* 

Advising a French group specialized in the rental and maintenance of professional clothing and textile articles, on its acquisition of two Belgian companies active in the dry cleaning business;* 

Advising a Belgian general aviation insurance and reinsurance company, and its shareholders, on the sale of the company to a global insurer and reinsurer listed on the New York Stock Exchange;* 

Advising a global insurer and reinsurer company on the merger between a Belgian general aviation insurance and reinsurance company and the legal entity that oversees the international group’s insurance business in Europe;* and

Advising an Australian logistics solutions group, on its acquisition of the leading Belgian provider of freight forwarding, customs and warehousing management solutions.*
