Overview

Tara Agoston is an Associate in the disputes team in Sydney. Her practice focuses on commercial disputes, including major infrastructure arbitrations. Tara was previously based with the White & Case arbitration team in Paris for four years prior to relocating to Sydney where her practice focused on international commercial and investor-state arbitrations. 

Prior to joining White & Case, Tara completed her Masters of Law in Litigation and Dispute Resolution at University College London and gained experience as a solicitor in the commercial practice group of an Australian law firm in Melbourne.

Representing an international construction company in an ICC dispute related to an LNG project in Asia-Pacific.

Representing a contractor in a major tunnel construction dispute in Australia.

Representing an Eastern European State in pending ICC arbitration proceedings relating to a toll road project in Eastern Europe;

Representing affiliates of a West European gas company in a claim under the Energy Charter Treaty against a Central European State;

Representing an Asian construction company in a dispute administered by SIAC in South East Asia;

Representing a West European construction company in a major construction dispute in South America; and

Representing a Dutch Investor in an investment treaty arbitration pending before ICSID against a Central European State.
