Biography

Timothé Lefèvre is an associate in our Global Debt Finance and Capital Markets practices. He is registered with the Luxembourg Bar and is based in Luxembourg.

Timothé advises on a wide range of financing transactions and debt capital structures, including cross-border acquisition and leveraged financings, refinancings, bridge facilities, bank/bond financings, and other lending transactions. He brings with him extensive experience in general corporate law, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and management incentive plans, having transitioned from the firm's Global M&A and Private Equity practice.

Timothé holds a master's degree in law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid on an Erasmus scholarship.

Experience

Advising the Luxembourg group Hameur on a partnership agreement with Ardian through which Ardian will take a majority stake in Robot Coupe and Magimix, the food processor and cooking accessories brands.

Advising private equity firm Hg on the acquisition by Téthys Invest and GIC of a minority stake in Septeo Group, a leading European software provider, in which Hg is the majority shareholder. The transaction values Septeo at over €3 billion.

Advising Nomura on its entry into an share purchase agreement with Macquarie to acquire its US and European public asset management business for US$1.8 billion (subject to purchase price adjustments) in an all-cash transaction.

Advising of investment company CORESTATE Capital Holding S.A. on an exclusivity agreement in view of the sale to ATLAND of the entire share capital of STAM Europe, a real estate investment and asset management firm.
