Overview

Victor Sim is a counsel in White & Case's Asia Banking, Capital Markets & Restructuring practice, based in Hong Kong.

Victor advises on a range of banking transactions with particular focus on cross-border financing transactions including leveraged financing, acquisition financing, real estate financing, margin financing and take-private transactions. He has extensive experience representing both financial institutions, sponsors and corporate borrowers.

Prior to joining White & Case, Victor worked at a "Magic Circle" law firm and another international firm in Hong Kong.

Advised a Chinese real estate investment fund on RMB666 million acquisition financing in relation to a real estate project in Guangzhou, the PRC.*

Advised Bank of China on US$140 million take-private financing by CITIC PE of Biosensors International Group from Singapore Stock Exchange.*

Advised HSBC on US$45 million acquisition financing for Platinum Equity in relation to Ying Shing Enterprises, a PRC plastic injection molding manufacturer.*

Advised CITIC PE, CDH and New Horizon on US$600 million take-private financing of LuYe Pharma Group Limited from Singapore Stock Exchange.*

Advised China Development Bank on US$1 billion acquisition financing for China Minmetals Corporation in relation to MMG's Dugald River Project in Australia.*
