Biography

Overview

Viraen Vaswani is an associate in the Dispute Resolution group of the Firm's London office and focuses his practice on international arbitration. His experience includes representing companies on construction disputes and other cross-border arbitrations under LCIA and ICC rules.

Viraen joined White & Case in 2017 as a Trainee Solicitor, and gained experience in the firm's Bank Finance and Intellectual Property groups. Viraen also spent six months in the firm’s Paris office, where we worked with the Capital Markets team.

Experience

Representing the main contractor on one of the world’s largest infrastructure projects located in Central America, in a series of related ICC arbitrations against the employer, worth in excess of $1 billion.

Represented a Middle Eastern telecoms company, who was the defendant in an ICC arbitration regarding a contractual dispute. 

Represented the Claimants in an arbitration relating to the construction of an Aircraft Maintenance facility.
