Vivake is an associate in the White & Case New York office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in both federal and state courts. He has experience representing both corporations and sovereign clients in a variety of disputes, regulatory, and advisory matters, including white collar investigations, cross-border transactions, and cases under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.
Vivake maintains a robust pro bono practice focused on civil and human rights, including the firm’s representation of low-income debtors challenging wealth-based detention in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Vivake worked at a think tank in New Delhi, India, advising Indian Members of Parliament on legislative and policy matters.
