Overview

William Heywood is an associate in our global Real Estate industry group based in London.

William focuses on real estate finance, acting for lenders and borrowers on asset classes including logistics warehouses, data centres, office buildings, Build to Rent, Private Rented Sector and Purpose Built Student Accommodation in the UK and throughout Europe. He has experience on a range of finance structures, covering acquisition/investment financing, development financing, senior/mezz, capital markets transactions, refinancings, repo financing, loan sales and syndications.

William also has experience in financing transactions covering greenfield and brownfield project finance, and asset finance.

Prior to joining White & Case, William trained at the London and Tokyo offices of a Magic Circle law firm.
