Yevgen joined White & Case in 2017, and is an associate in the EU law practice group of the Brussels office.
He advises clients on a number of EU law matters with a particular focus on EU competition law, including antitrust and merger control. His experience includes working on complex international mergers, cartel investigations and distribution agreements.
In the field of trade law, Yevgen’s experience includes advising on trade defense instruments in the steel and chemicals sectors. Yevgen also advises on the application of EU sanctions, and regulatory matters including energy, environment and GMOs.
Yevgen actively participates in pro bono work and recently advised on questions of human rights as recognized by the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
Prior to joining White & Case, he worked at the Brussels office of another US law firm, and completed an internship at the European Commission's Directorate General for Competition in the Media Antitrust Unit.
