

Biography
Yousef El Zohiry is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group in New York. Yousef represents domestic and international corporate clients and private equity funds in private and public domestic, cross-border, and global mergers and acquisitions, private investments, and corporate governance matters across a broad range of industries. He leverages his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor to navigate complex transactions and deliver strategic solutions.
Yousef earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and his Master of Business Administration from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. At UofT, he served as an Associate Editor of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review and Vice President of the JD/MBA Association. He was also selected as a Capital Markets Initiative JD/MBA Fellow.
Experience
Representation of Aramco, one of the world's largest integrated energy and chemical companies, in its acquisition of Valvoline Inc.'s (NYSE: VVV) global products business for US$2.65 billion, subject to customary post-closing adjustments.
Representation of Nordic Capital and Surgical Information Systems in the acquisition of Surgical Notes, an ASC-focused revenue cycle management (RCM), transcription, and coding services provider.
Representation of TotalEnergies and Global Infrastructure Partners on a US$175 million capital financing transaction provided through a second lien term loan from Sol Holding, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of TotalEnergies and GIP, to SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR), a leading residential solar technology and energy services company.
