White & Case advises EDF power solutions S.A. on US$4.2 billion sale to KKR of its North American renewable power business

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised EDF power solutions S.A. on its US$4.2 billion sale to KKR of the operations and assets of EDF power solutions in the United States and Canada, with potential additional payments of up to US$390 million.
EDF power solutions North America operates in the US and Canada, and includes 5.6 gigawatts of solar and wind energy with an additional 19.2 gigawatts under development. The North American business develops, builds and operates onshore and offshore wind, solar, battery energy storage and pumped-storage hydropower projects, and is also active in EV charging, microgrids, green hydrogen and transmission infrastructure.
