Overview

Zsofia is an Associate in the Project Development and Finance Group in the London office. She has experience in international project finance transactions acting for both sponsors and lenders, particularly in the oil and gas, renewables and infrastructure sectors. Zsofia joined the firm as a trainee in 2018 and has spent 6 months on secondment at our Paris office.

Oil and Gas

Representation of a syndicate of lenders, led by Societe Generale, London Branch, to subsidiaries of Cheiron Petroleum Corporation and Cairn Energy PLC on a US$325 million reserve-based lending facility for the acquisition of upstream oil and gas assets located in the Western Desert in Egypt from Shell Egypt N.V. and Shell Austria GmbH for a base consideration of US$646 million.

Representation of Natixis, as lead arranger and global coordinator, and a syndicate of international lenders to Fieldwood Energy E&P Mexico, a subsidiary of Fieldwood Energy LLC, on a US$125 million reserve-based lending facility for the development of Fieldwood Mexico's interest in the Contract Area 4 offshore Mexico.

Representation of Saudi Aramco on its US$10 billion corporate term loan facility.

Representation of Qatar Aluminium Limited on the US$1.2 billion facility to refinance its existing project finance debt.
