Biography

Zsofia is an Associate in the Project Development and Finance Group in the London office. She has experience in international project finance, syndicated lending, acquisition finance and reserve based lending transactions, in relation to which she has acted for sponsors, lenders and government entities. Zsofia works predominantly in the energy, renewable, natural resource and infrastructure sectors across a broad range of jurisdictions. She trained at the firm and has spent six months on secondment at the firm's Paris office.

Experience

Oil and Gas

Representation of a syndicate of lenders, led by Societe Generale, London Branch, to subsidiaries of Cheiron Petroleum Corporation and Cairn Energy PLC on a US$325 million reserve-based lending facility for the acquisition of upstream oil and gas assets located in the Western Desert in Egypt from Shell Egypt N.V. and Shell Austria GmbH for a base consideration of US$646 million and an additional contingent consideration of up to a maximum of US$280 million.

Representation of North Sea Midstream Partners (NSMP) on a major refinancing of its debt facilities.

Renewables

Representation of EIG Global Energy Partners (EIG), a US-based investor in the global energy and infrastructure sectors, on the commitment from EIG managed funds of €135 million for ib vogt GmbH's global solar pv portfolio.

Representation of Neoen S.A on the €328 million project financing of the 404 MW Mutkalampi onshore wind power plant in North Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia, Finland.

Infrastructure

Representation of Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Inc., a leading global infrastructure investment platform, in its acquisition of Seven Seas Water, an operator of desalination and other water treatment facilities across the Caribbean and in Peru.

Representation of the mandated lead arrangers on the provision of approximately US$1.1 billion of underwritten facilities for the acquisition of GTT Communications’ telecoms infrastructure business by I Squared Capital.
