White & Case and Pérez Bustamante & Ponce hosted a discussion on "Ecuador open for investment: Incentives and financing for new projects" in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on July 16, 2019. White & Case partner Jeannine Acevedo made remarks about the structuring of projects and alternatives for international financing. Other speakers included Iván Ontaneda, Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries; Sandra Reed and Juan Manuel Marchán, partners at Pérez Bustamante & Ponce; and Marco Macías, expert in public-private partnerships. There were well over 60 attendees present from both the public and private sector, including from the Ecuadorean Ministries of Finance, Economy and Tourism, the Inter-American Development Bank, Ecuadorian and multinational companies and international banks.
