We are seeking an experienced Manager, People Function Continuous Improvement to play a strategic role in transforming HR service delivery within a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment. White & Case Global Operations Center (Manila) LLP is seeking a Learning and Development Advisor to provide support in the development and execution of a learning and development initiatives that meets the most critical needs of the organization. The role requires significant collaboration within managing training events and administering them in the Firm's LMS.
The Process Improvement (PI) Team specializes in Process Documentation (PD) and Continuous Improvement (CI) and is under the Operational Excellence Department. The Process Improvement Specialist supports the Firm through process documentation and improvement projects. This position will be reporting to the Process Improvement Supervisor.
You will be part of our Security Operations Center (SOC) Team whose main responsibility is to mitigate and prevent security threats through monitoring and reporting, while also implementing strong cyber security practice to protect the Firm. You will work in a team operating 24/7 and work closely with the different Technology teams such as the Service Desk, NOC, and our engineers specialized in security and infrastructure. Although primarily focused on day-to-day operational matters, you will also participate in varying security projects. The attention to detail and a strong focus on processes will build the base of your success and will improve your overall understanding of supporting the Firm. You have a full understanding of the security technologies and solutions that equip you to implement security best practice within the Security Operations Center. Your inputs and contributions relating to analyzing security threats, understanding risks and business impact will be as equally important to your role. This will help you to support our risk-based approach and the integration of security into all IT systems and operational practices.
The Billing Supervisor has the overall management of the operations of its assigned section in the Manila Billing team for White & Case's billing. He / She shall manage the recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring, provide directions to the team based on the Firm's core values and Manila's service value proposition and programs and addressing members' key ask or help needed from the management. Ensure transparency of operations with major stakeholders by providing constant updates and regular feedback.
As the Matter Mobility Manager, you will lead all aspects of Partner Transfer activities across the Firm, ensuring compliance with technologies and client requests. Your role involves developing long-range plans, setting goals, providing direction, and executing services, initiatives, and projects to reduce risks and costs associated with information governance. Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of Outgoing and Incoming Transfer workflows, coordinating the review and archiving of departing users' hard copy files and personal data, and ensuring the completion of approved personal data requests. You will also lead projects to automate Matter Mobility and Departed User data processes and liaise closely with the General Counsel Office and other key stakeholders. Key interactions will include the Firm's General Counsel, Data Protection Officer, Technology Cyber Security leader, Practice Technology department, partners, practice leaders, external client compliance teams, and new, departing, and departed staff.
The Manager, Service Design reports to and supports the Senior Manager, Service Operations with leading the Design and Change Management Team. They are responsible for heading the development of quality, secure and resilient designs for new or improved services, practices, processes and policy. At the same time, they work closely with the Change Management Team and service as the escalation point on our change process. Additionally, as a member of the Service Delivery management team they will lead and manage a Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) program to improve service quality and will champion best practice IT Service Management (ITSM) thinking and approach based on the ITIL aligning IT services with the needs of business. This role combines ITSM experience, operational and business knowledge to ensure that service delivery and service support processes are on track for the consistent delivery of a high level of client service in an effective and cost-efficient manner.
