Working in Poland

At White & Case, we recognize that true success derives from a wealth of diverse individuals acting together as one integrated team. “Together we make a mark” is not only an adage for us, but we strongly believe in everything it represents and all the responsibilities it puts on us. Therefore, we greatly value the contribution of our non-lawyer staff who have one prevailing goal—commitment to excellence.

Each member of our business services team is a passionate professional with the highest standards and a devotion to what they do. We mentor and support each other so that every single one of us can excel and enjoy the optimum work experience.

  1. Submit your CV

The first step is to submit your CV through the White & Case online application system or by sending an email to Iwona from our HR team at: iwona.chelminiak@whitecase.com. You will be contacted via email within 48 hours from the time we receive your application. Selected applicants will be invited for an interview, but you will always receive feedback from us even if you’re not selected.

  1. Tests and interviews

While this step is different depending on the position, usually you can expect to be invited to have a conversation with our native English speaker. If you apply for an assistant or IT position, you will also be asked to take a test. For assistant positions, we test your knowledge of Microsoft Word, and the IT tests cover the Microsoft Office Suite plus network and server administration.

In the last stage, you will meet with a member of our HR team and the relevant team leader. Certain positions may require two or three interviews.

  1. Referrals

Typically, but not for all positions, if you are selected for the hiring process, you will be asked to provide our HR team with contact details of your former colleagues who agreed to act as references for you. This is so that we can learn more about you, your work and how we can possibly help you thrive in our Firm.

  1. Feedback

We truly respect all candidates’ time, and we care about your comfort. Therefore—regardless of test or interview results—we will always keep you up to date before and after each phase of the process and you can call us anytime if you feel the information we provide is not enough.

Does White & Case provide induction trainings?

Providing top-class services begins with having a thorough knowledge of your workplace. We will tell you who we are and how we work, and will take care of you from day one. You will have on-the-job training and will get to know all the resources relevant to your work. If at any time you feel that the information provided is insufficient, you can always ask, and we will be glad to answer your questions.

What professional development opportunities does White & Case offer?

We can sum up your development with us in one word: individual. Depending on your needs, we will support your development in the way we both think is best for you, whether through skill-specific workshops, seminars, events or tailor-made programs.

I want to work at White & Case, but there are no vacancies now. Can I still send my application?

Of course! If you cannot find job opportunities aligned with your profile at the moment, but think we are the right place for you, we encourage you to send us your CV anyway or create a candidate profile here.

Can I make changes to my submitted application?

Yes, you can modify your application at any time. You need to log in to our online application system with the user ID and password that you created when completing the candidate profile. If you encounter any technical problems with the application system, please contact Iwona from our HR team at: ichelminiak@whitecase.com.
